Vancouver Hairstylist Jannie Lam Releases New DVD to Teach Women How to Style Their Own Hair

Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) April 16, 2008 -- Jannie Lam, a Vancouver based hairstylist, has just released a DVD entitled "Salon Chic - Style Your Hair Like a Pro". The DVD demonstrates the techniques used to style various types of hair styles. Unlike other hair styling videos which show a professional stylist doing the demonstrations, the models featured in this DVD style their own hair. The end result is a more realistic demonstration for the viewer as they can see how they would actually handle the tools themselves.

"Many of my clients asked me how they could create the salon chic look at home", said Lam, "So I decided to create a video to show them how. When I was researching the market, I noticed that most how-to hair programs show the stylist doing the demonstrations. My aim was to empower women to do this themselves, simply and easily at home. The women in the DVD were thrilled to discover they could make the transformation happen themselves."

"What's great", said Lam, "is that you don't have to be a stylist to look good and feel great in a very short time. Whether you have long, short, straight or curly hair you just follow the DVD step by step. This DVD shows you how and when to use the various tools and styling products as well.
